The Manengouba Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to bringing community development to Cameroon, a nation on the west coast of Central Africa, through vocational and technical education, international cultural exchange and the development of sporting activities among young people.

The foundation’s core mission is to bring the Moungo Division of Cameroon back to the forefront of development that it previously occupied when its rich, fertile lands fed much of the rest of the nation and produced coffee, bananas and other fruits for export. The region lost much of its economic vitality in the mid-1960s and 1970s in the political turmoil that followed Cameroon's struggle for independence.

Our organization believes that education is the key to accomplishing this mission. The skills and tools gained by students will help them understand and resolve daily economic, social, moral and vocational challenges.

The foundation helps prepare young adults in the Moungo Region to become productive citizens by providing a learning environment where they feel challenged, respected and accountable as they strive to find a way to grow, develop, and help to lift each other out of the poverty that characterizes this region.
